Create a plan: Putting the pieces in place
Give the team direction
With all players, information and a direction in hand, the group can now begin to piece together its action plans unique to the community in which they will be practiced.

Examples to consider:
  • Monitoring drug use trends through community surveillance
  • Continuing gathering and analysis of community data
  • Ability to identify new drug abuse trends
  • Building community awareness through communication of the drug-use trends
  • Lobby for tighter "precursor chemical" laws
  • Advocating for digital monitoring to stop "smurfing" of pseudoephedrine products
  • Pushing for treatment facilities for those who want it
  • Encouraging enhanced enforcement
