Georgia county schools could teach meth awareness

Richmond County, GA - METH could soon be coming to Richmond County schools, and officials hope this anti-drug campaign gets there before the drug it's named after does.

At a Richmond County school board committee meeting last week, Pete Caye -- a representative with the Georgia METH Program who also has been a fundraising official for the Salvation Army's Kroc Center idea in Augusta -- said students need to be warned of the dangers of methamphetamine.

Officers suffered meth lab exposure

Tulsa, OK - Tulsa police officers had to be treated at a hospital for exposure to a meth lab that resulted in the arrests of two people late Monday night.

It happened near Admiral and Sheridan shortly before 11 o'clock Monday night. Police arrived to assist the fire marshall on a wanted person call.

Police make meth, child neglect arrests

IN - Indiana State Police on Monday arrested three people while investigating a complaint of illegal drug activity at a house at 18 E. Minneapolis St., in Vincennes, Ind.

The troopers also had information that Thomas Lindauer, 35, had an active felony warrant out of Illinois and was staying at the house.

Mother trained teen son to deal meth

Jakarta, Indonesia: Police have accused an unnamed 46-year-old woman of teaching her 15-year-old child to peddle drugs.

Police arrested the resident of Johar Baru, Central Jakarta, after receiving a tip-off from residents in Tanjung Duren, West Jakarta, where she was believed to have several customers.
