Suspicion around missing child case, father charged with running meth lab

The remains of Alycia Augusta Mesiti-Allen, 14 when she vanished in August 2006, are now in the hands of toxicologists and coroners. Since March, when cadaver-sniffing dogs found her body buried in the unkempt yard of her father's former Central Valley (Ca.) home, detectives have scoured for evidence from the girl's petite frame.
Man busted cooking meth at parents' home
KALAMAZOO, Mich. - Drug enforcement officers say they have busted a man cooking meth and they say he was doing it in his parents' house.
They searched the house Thursday night on Lowden Street in Kalamazoo. Officers found meth-making materials and some finished meth in the suspect's bedroom.
They also found remnants of a one-pot meth lab hidden under a laundry basket outside the house.
The 18-year-old admitted the lab was his and told officers he cooks meth twice a month.
He's now facing a number of charges.
