Child endangerment by meth exposure among new laws

Jefferson City, MO - Gov. Jay Nixon paid a visit to the "CSI: Miami" set on Thursday ... no, wait ... it was the Missouri Highway Patrol Crime Lab, right here in Jefferson City.

Nixon signed five bills into law during the visit, and learned how the Highway Patrol uses technology to solve cases.

Toddler sexually abused, burned, exposed to meth

Fort Smith, AR - Police said a Sebastian County man raped his toddler daughter, burned her with a cigarette and exposed her to marijuana and methamphetamine smoke while living in a storage shed.

Ashley Neil McMillion, 29, was booked into the Sebastian County jail on charges that include second-degree battery and rape.

Anti-drug organization founder sold fake meth

Redondo Beach, CA - The founder of a Marina del Rey-based anti-drug organization has been busted in an undercover drug sting.

Kendall Craig Farris is charged with selling pills to an undercover Redondo Beach police detective.

Five children removed from meth lab

MI - Cass County Drug Enforcement Team (CCDET) announces that on Thursday, July 9, members along with Department of Human Services (DHS) discovered an active methamphetamine lab in the 12000 block of Dutch Settlement, Newberg Township.

Detectives discovered the active methamphetamine lab when they made contact with a 33-year-old male at the residence.
